Taking the road of being an artist, a creative, is never easy. There are millions of people who took a safer way and that is a perfectly valid choice to make. We all need doctors, cleaners, waiters, and garbage people. Each job and way of life out there is important, but it needs to b your choice.

One of the great things about technology is that we all have cameras with us. That we can always document great moments in our lives. People forget that we use to rarely have images of us or our loved ones. Its how we see how things were in the past. Remember someone who has passed. See events that should not be forgotten.

I am such an introvert. That I have no problem doing a lot of things alone. Eating at a restaurant by myself has never been a problem. I seriously have no problem being left on my own and not talk to anyone. And this bled over to my traveling. Half of all the traveling I’ve done has been solo and it has been some of the best trips I have taken.

I have so much music that has defined me in my life. It can be single songs that perfectly portrayed what I was feeling at the time to a whole artist that helped me on my journey in life. It brings back memories whenever we hear it. Comforts us in our time of need. To just giving us an energy boost to get something done. (We’ve all danced in our rooms while cleaning.)

Over the years, life has shown us how important art is. It is a part of everything we do. The tv and movies we watch, the music we listen to, and the books we read. The things we use to relax or explore. Its what we need to add joy to our lives. And when we had to stay home, it was our connection to the world. Each of us needed that connection that art gave us.

We all have things that we hold off on. Going to the beach until we lose weight. Booking the dream vacation until you make more money. Save for a dream house until you get married (even if you are single). Even something as small drinking the wine you got as a gift or using that nice notebook until you can find something exciting enough to use it for.

We’ve all heard about how we should niche down in order to be successful in business. And if you want to make money being creative, it is a business. But some of us are just not built that way.
